The Power of
Angels,
Joanne Brocas, New Page Books, Pompton Plains, NJ,
2014, 224 pp, $14.99.
According to Joanne Brocas, we have angels around us all the time; we just can’t see them. They do let us know they’re there—a white feather is one sign—but because angels are on a higher vibratory level than humans, it’s difficult for us to sense them. If you find that hard to believe, think about sound vibrations. Animals can hear sounds that humans can’t. Just because we can’t hear them doesn’t mean they aren’t there.
When we ask angels for help, we must be prepared for an answer and open to receiving it. That’s probably the biggest block: being open to receiving messages, guidance and help. It may feel like “coincidence” that a sticky situation turns out fine, but it could very well be angels taking a hand.
How do we connect with our angels? How do we communicate with them? You’ll learn through easy to follow exercises. I can’t tell you how it works, because it’s different for each person, but I can tell you that it does. As I said, a white feather is a sign from an angel—perhaps your guardian angel. Butterflies are also signs, and I saw quite a few yesterday. Wow.
I found the chapter on sensing angels very interesting, especially the difference between true angelic presence and false angelic presence. When the good angels are around, we feel relaxed, energized, uplifted; but false angelic presences (that is, low level spirits) give us feelings of fear, irritation, fatigue, nausea. Just because you “think” an angel is nearby, it doesn’t mean it’s a “good guy”. Don’t accept negative feelings. Angels don’t come to harm.
The Power of Angels is a comforting, informative, and fascinating book. The instructions, as I said, are easy to follow, and are definitely well worth doing. Your experience may be very different from mine. If you have any extraordinary experiences, please share them with us.
