The Akashic
Records – Sacred Exploration of Your Soul’s Journey Within the Wisdom of the
Collective Consciousness, Ernesto Ortiz, New Page
Books, Pompton Plains, NJ, 2015, 217 pp, $16.99.
This is a very helpful book. Ernesto shares two decades of work in
wonderful detail, and makes it easy to understand and use the techniques
ourselves.
I’ve heard of the
Akashic Records, but wasn’t all that familiar with them. Ernesto explains them
very well. I particularly like this quote: “Every experience, thought, and
emotion of every living thing, human and animal, is kept in this cosmic
library. Every life form both contributes to and has access to the Records.” I
found it comforting to know that, like any library, I can access the
information it contains and put it to use. A good analogy for millennials is
that, like the internet, the Akashic Records are available 24/7 and provide
unlimited guidance. You just have to know how to access the program. And that’s
where Ernesto helps.
We may not feel that
our souls are damaged, but in many ways they are, and Ernesto gives very clear
step-by-step guidance to help us reach a state of consciousness where our
hearts open and healing can begin.
Personally, I found
the chapter on Troubled Relationships extremely helpful. Understanding that we
come together with another person for a reason was quite a shock. Why would I
want this difficult relationship in my life? Ernesto helped me understand that,
although there were difficult times, I did learn a great deal from this
relationship; without it, I wouldn’t be who I am today. I appreciated learning
that dealing with difficulties between myself and another person helps not only
me, but that person as well.
Protection when
visiting the Akashic Records is important, and the chapter on protection was
fascinating. I’d never heard of some of these techniques, and I now find them
very helpful in everyday life. When I read the section on how to know if I am
protected, I realized that, in many ways, I was not. I frequently felt drained,
I bumped into people and things, I had aches and pains in my back and joints. I
quickly utilized the techniques outlined by Ernesto.
The most important
part of the book is how to consult the Akashic Records. It’s okay to visit the
library, but you have to know how to access the records and use them. The
Sacred Prayer is the key to opening the records, and Ernesto provides
guidelines on when and how to use them.
There’s so much here
that I don’t know how to cover it all in one short review. I would encourage
you to experience it all yourself. The Akashic
Records
will change your life. Read it and see for yourself.
