What I expect from books by Susan Shumsky is clear, concise,
easily understood information, and Awaken
Your Divine Intuition is no exception.
The techniques in the
book have been tested by Dr. Shumsky’s students, and she shares some of their
experiences. If you think it’s time to wake up that “still, small voice within”,
this might be time to pick up Awaken Your
Divine Intuition. Dr. Shumsky also offers a 70-minute guided meditation
that you can download from her website. Very helpful in discerning the Voice of
God from lower spirit voices. There are also prayers of protection and healing
prayers and affirmations for different needs.
I shared the book
with four friends. One said that the book and meditation were “extremely
helpful as I learned to discern the Voice of God from voices in lower realms
that may not want what’s best for me.” Another said, “I loved the book, as I’ve
loved all of her other books. In this one, I liked the affirmations/prayers
that apply to different needs. The exercises were explained very well, and were
easy to follow. They were extremely helpful.” A third said, “I thought Dr.
Shumsky was a bit condescending when talking about others she feels aren’t
truly speaking to spirit. She seems to imply that her way is the only way, and
I can’t communicate with spirit in any way but hers.” The fourth said, “Dr.
Shumsky tries to explain her definition of God in a way that will make
non-believers, or those who had negative experiences with religion, feel more
comfortable. To say that Spirit, God, intuition, inner guidance and all mean
the same thing is fine, but it doesn’t erase the bad taste organized religion
left in my mouth.”
So, there you have
four views that may encourage you to run out and buy Awaken Your Divine Intuition or look at it more closely to see if
it matches your beliefs.
