Symbols in dreams are important, and we take note of blatant symbols such as a car accident or plane crash; a special event (wedding, birthday, funeral); people, colors and animals. But do we take note of precious or semi-precious stones? If you dream of someone giving you an opal, do you consider the opal, or do you consider the person, the event (reason why the gift was given) and the actual act of gift giving?
Here is a brief list of stones and what they may mean in your dreams:
Opal – bad omen
Amethyst – satisfaction
Coral – danger by water, especially if you live near the sea
Carnelian – victory in a legal matter
Diamond – success in business
Garnet – a troublesome matter is coming to an end
Amber – profit
Obsidian – wisdom
